The GCIM works to advance and sustain manufacturing growth within the state. Georgia Bio (GaBio), founded in 1989, is a non-profit, membership-based organization that promotes the interests and growth of the life sciences industry.  It is the state’s largest and most influential life sciences advocacy and business leadership organization which works to improve access to innovative technologies and grow Georgia’s life sciences economy. Global Center for Medical Innovation

The Global Center for Medical Innovation (GCMI) is the Southeast’s first comprehensive medical device innovation center. Core members of the medical device community, such as universities, clinicians, and drug companies, are brought together with the goal of accelerating the commercialization of innovative medical technology. The Center provides a range of services to medical device innovators including design, engineering, product development, prototyping, and small-scale cGMP manufacturing.
